Matt is a born and raised West Virginian from Wellsburg, WV, and graduated with a doctorate in physical therapy from Wheeling University and undergraduate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Matt has 10 years of clinical experience in the acute care, home health, long term acute care, and outpatient settings. His clinical certifications and specialties include: certified LSVT provider (gold standard for treating Parkinson’s Disease), vestibular rehab, certified lymphedema therapist (CLT), certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), and a special interest in ACL reconstruction and isokinetics. Matt is a part of the WV State Board of Physical Therapy’s Payer Relation committee, finance committee, and advisor to the WV executive board of Physical Therapy. Matt is a part of the WV American PT Association and the American PT Association. He enjoys the outdoors and is an avid hunter and exerciser. He has a beautiful wife (Ellen) with 2 dogs (Thor and Luna) and resides in Kanawha City, WV. Matt’s career is his passion and includes helping as many people in life find and follow God through knowing Jesus with use of his talents in physical therapy and exercise.
Lindsey was born and raised in Buckhannon, WV with an undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She then went to WVU for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Lindsey has 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient therapy. She has gone to continued educational courses on Integrated Dry Needling and Lumbopelvic Manual Therapy. Lindsey is interested in pursuing further vestibular training and certifications. She loves to be outdoors boating, hiking, fishing, and biking. PT is her career choice as she wants to help those back into the activities and hobbies they love to do!
Rachel Sallade is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from Charleston, West Virginia with over four years of experience in nutrition counseling. Rachel breaks down the science of nutrition so that each client feels empowered to make healthier choices, whether they are at home, grocery shopping, or at a cookout with friends. Nutrition therapy is an individualized approach, so wherever you may be in your health goals, she will meet you where you are. She believes small, sustainable changes lead to habits that will last a lifetime! Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Foods from West Virginia University (WVU). After WVU, she completed her Dietetic Internship and Masters of Science degree in Dietetics at Marshall University. Besides working at Capital Physical Therapy and Fitness, Rachel works full time for the Marshall University Nutrition Education Program and does contract work for the PEIA Weight Management Program. She also volunteers as the State Media Committee Chair for the West Virginia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. When she isn’t working you can find her getting creative in the kitchen, gardening in her backyard, and hiking the WV hills with her husband, Zach and dog, Louie.
Ashley was born and raised in Charleston, WV. She attended West Virginia State University where she studied psychology. Ashley has always had a passion to help people in any way she can. She enjoys spending time with family, kayaking, reading and spending time with her dogs, Bonnie and Rip, and husband, Michael.
Matt is from Charleston, WV. He is a Certified Personal Trainer who has worked in the Kanawha Valley for 5 years. His areas of interest are corrective exercise, mobility, strength, and endurance. Matt also studied Communications at West Virginia State University. In his free time he enjoys reading, weight lifting, watching sports, spending time with his family, his girlfriend, Stephanie, and their animals. His passion is to help people move better, feel better and get healthier.
Heather is a wife and momma to a beautiful little boy. She is also a Registered Nurse and Certified Yoga Instructor. She received her yoga certification through Yoga Faith. Her passions are living out her life in faith, spending time with her family, yoga, the outdoors, slow living, and giving back to her community.
